Niaouli essential oil is a light, clear to pale yellow liquid. It is aromatically close to Tea Tree and Eucalyptus essential oils and is known to have similar properties to Tea Tree oil, although it has a milder scent. Niaouli essential oil has antiseptic, antiviral, and antibacterial properties.
Instructions for use
Oral
Add 1 drop of Niaouli and 1 drop of Peppermint to a glass of lukewarm water and use as a mouthwash and gargle.
Skin
Add 3 to 5 drops to a tablespoon of base oil, e.g. almond oil, jojoba oil or coconut oil and massage the painful area (muscle pain, joint pain and bruises), skin wound or infections of all kinds such as; acne, pimple, eczema, cut or insect bite.
Add 5 drops of niaouli oil and 2 drops of eucalyptus oil to 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to get a mixture. Rub this mixture on the forehead, neck and chest for cold or flu.
Airways
Fill a basin with boiling water and add 3 drops of niaouli oil, cover your head and shoulders with a towel and keep your eyes closed. This can help with respiratory complaints such as sinusitis, colds, bronchitis and pneumonia.
Add up to 10 drops to a full bath for peace and relaxation.
Mix the oil with, for example, magnesium flakes and add this to the water.
When you drop Niaouli oil directly into water, it will float on the water.
It can be used in a diffuser with eucalyptus, bergamot or lavender essential oils for a calming and pleasant aroma.
External use
Put 1 drop in your underwear, this helps with vaginal yeast infection (candida), itching and infection in the urinary tract (bladder infection or white discharge) or 10 drops in 1 liter of water to clean your genitals after a toilet visit. Shake before use!
External use possible from 5 years. Pregnant women may also use it.
Please note! Niaouli oil should not be applied to the skin in its pure form, as this can cause irritation and skin wounds.
